According to the public relations and international affairs office of the Kahrizak Charity Foundation, the UN Economic and Social Council, upon the recommendation of UN non-governmental organizations, decided to grant the special consultative status to the Kahrizak Charity Foundation.

The Economic and Social Council, also known as ECOSOC, is one of the five main pillars of the United Nations, to which Chapter X of the UN Charter is dedicated. By granting consultative status to NGOs that meet the specified criteria, it creates the basis for the activities of various NGOs in the Council's commissions and associations.

Cooperation with like-minded organizations in other countries is one of the most important goals of participation in this fund, and this creates the credibility for the institute to be an expert in international policy-making in areas related to the activities of Kahrizak. Having the Special Consultative Status of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations also gives Kahrizak Charity Foundation the opportunity to use the experiences of similar NGOs at the international level and to participate in the consultative meetings of these organizations at the United Nations.

Kahrizak Charity Foundation is one of the oldest and largest charitable centers in the field of elderly and disabled care, which has been operating in this field since 1972.
