The second phase of the Kahrizak Specialized University of Care for the Elderly was inaugurated and put into operation in the presence of Dr. Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel, President of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature, and the family of the late Dr. Naraqi, the benefactor and builder of the center.

Dr. Hassan Ahmadi, the head of the center and chairman of the board of directors of the Kahrizak Charity Foundation, also gave a comprehensive overview of the center's activities, saying that more than 800 people have graduated from the university in associate and bachelor's degrees and have been absorbed into the labor market.

He noted that since 2019, with the approval of the Ministry of Health, the center has been training skilled human resources in the fields of first aid, emergency, home care, and training for nurses and nurses for the institution and society, and is seeking to add nutrition and psychology to other fields.

Hamid Ghobadi Dana, CEO of the Kahrizak Charity Foundation, another speaker at the opening ceremony of the second phase of the Kahrizak Specialized University of Care for the Elderly, said: "This gathering is only an excuse to honor the philanthropists and elders who are with us to remind us that the lives of 3,250 disabled and elderly people on a 24-hour basis and 1,000 other beneficiaries in the form of daily care depend on their kindness and attention."

The second phase of the Kahrizak University of Applied Sciences, in a building of 1,200 square meters, including 8 classrooms, 2 training workshops, a computer center, and an auditorium, was built by the family of the late Dr. Naraqi and added to the first section of the center.

Currently, 420 students are studying in 6 associate and 3 bachelor's degrees at the university, and it is expected that with the increase in student intake capacity, this number will reach 1,000 in the near future.

This action by the Kahrizak Charity Foundation supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 of the United Nations for 2030, which is to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all
